JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for carrying out all tasks assigned for assistant coaching a specific sport(s). This position must agree with and support the Faculty/Board Member's Covenant and agree with/help fulfill CHA's Mission Statement.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities and Tasks)

- Assist coach to schedule all practices
- Assist coach to plan and lead practices
- Provide feedback and coaching during games and events
- Assist coach to coordinate the schedule of games and communicate with parents and student-athletes
- Assist coach to plan and organize transportation for away games and events
- Mentor players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game
- Motivate players to improve through practice and individual coaching
- Maintain the equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions
- Create a safe environment designed to keep athletes healthy and injury-free
