TxDOT's GIS team is seeking motivated individuals to join the largest GIS shop in Texas state government. Come join our team of highly experienced, tech-savvy GIS professionals working in a collaborative, fun-loving, team environment.

Perform entry-level to advanced (depending on position) GIS editing and data analysis in support of GIS roadway network. The position includes significant opportunity to grow GIS skills and contribute directly to exciting projects. Work includes editing roadways, making maps, contributing to team projects, and developing custom tools and applications. Candidates work independently and in small team settings. Entry-level positions work under the supervision of a GIS technical lead.

Ideal candidates are proactive and resourceful and have an interest in learning how to work with large datasets, perform analysis, make maps, and write code. Opportunities for training and growing skills using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Portal, Python, SQL, JavaScript and FME. TxDOT provides a modern and collaborative work environment that includes food and beverage amenities, gym, trail, and shower access.

GIS Analyst II - B20 - Salary Range $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
GIS Analyst III - B22 - Salary Range $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
GIS Analyst IV - B24 - Salary Range $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
