The job

As the GIS system admin you will be in charge of operationally support and maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments including Esri Portal, Datastore, and ArcGIS Server. You will be supporting the organisation with any needs regarding software requirements and issues to ensure full functionality. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Support the currently deployed Esri product suite and all future releases of the Esri product lines
  • Complete ArcGIS software patching for systems on a manual and automated cycle
  • Manage Active Directory (AD) objects (users, groups, and assigned licenses) for authentication and authorization to GIS applications, files, folders, and Esri Enterprise Geodatabases
  • Provide initial support, targeting a higher level of first contact resolution
  • Ensure all data is secured and only accessible as appropriate, in compliance with company's policies and privacy laws
  • Document server configurations, enterprise architecture settings, and GIS database connections/accounts
  • Understand and apply the ArcGIS Products Life Cycle
  • Provide technical insight and recommendations to determine GIS policies, objectives, and for potential GIS software purchases

Your qualifications

💭 You speak and write English fluently (at least B2).

🎓 Experience working with Esri software and familiar with Azure or AWS on daily basis. You have deep knowledge on scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python)

💻 You have a advanced knowledge of IT and high level of computer handling skills. You understand different container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and web servers. You have working administration history with Linux and Windows.

💪🏻 Ability to think analytically and solve problems, and you are passionate about hardware and performance.

🥇 You have strong communication and decision-making skills, and you can communicate concisely.
