GL Accountant

We are looking for a GL Accountant to strengthen our team.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will be involved in the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including financial transactions, account reconciliations, and periodic closings. You will also contribute to process improvements and help ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data.

You will collaborate with the finance network across VINCI Energies Belgium Building Solutions, providing opportunities to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and further develop your expertise

Your Role?

• Process and verify purchase invoices and expense reports with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare supplier payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process bank statements and monitor cash reporting.
• Support the preparation of VAT and intra-community (IC) declarations.
• Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure financial data is processed accurately, timely, and consistently.
• Support Corporate Income Tax (CIT) preparation.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
