The Eye Institute of West Florida (EIWF) is a well-established, multispecialty ophthalmology practice with locations throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough County. Founded in 1974 by Stephen Weinstock, MD, and now led by Rob Weinstock, MD, EIWF has served the community for decades—delivering comprehensive eye care to thousands of patients and advancing the field through fellowship training and mentorship programs.
We are seeking a Glaucoma Surgeon to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a confident surgeon to focus on complex glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology within a high-volume, collaborative practice. The role offers immediate access to a robust patient base, advanced technology, and strong referral networks.
Practice Locations
-Largo: On-site ASC with 28 exam rooms (multi-OR ASC)
-Clearwater: 13 exam rooms
-St. Petersburg: On-site ASC with 18 exam rooms (multi-OR ASC)
-Tampa – Hyde Park: 13 exam rooms
-Tampa – Westchase: 8 exam rooms
-Largo – Aesthetic Center: 2 exam rooms

Job Requirements
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
-Completion of an accredited MD or DO program
-Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency and Glaucoma Fellowship
-Eligible for or active medical licensure in the state of Florida
-Strong surgical and clinical expertise in glaucoma management and procedures
-Ability to manage a high-volume, complex patient population
-Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
-Strong communication skills for referral relationship development
