Amaris Consulting, based in Italy’s Lombardy region, is seeking a Back-End Developer to join an international, dynamic IT team. You design, develop and maintain scalable back-end applications using Java or .NET and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
The role requires 2-5 years of experience, strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET Core, relational databases, Git, and collaboration in an Agile environment.
Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable back-end applications using Java or .NET technologies. Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate back-end services with internal and external systems. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices and established development standards. Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization where required. Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes. Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure software architectures. Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings and Retrospectives. 2-5 years of professional Back-End Development experience with Java or .NET. Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core. Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services. Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Experience with Git and software development best practices. Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus. Academic background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Fluent Catalan and/or Portuguese and good command of English.
