The Global Client Solutions Summer Analyst position will join the Boston GCS team for 10 weeks and gain immediate exposure to business development and client engagement in investment management.

Location of position: Boston, MA
Start date: 10-week program from mid-June to mid-August (open to rising seniors: Class of 2028)

Office Requirement: Summer Analysts are expected to work in their assigned office at least 4 days per week with the option to work from home 1 day per week.
Expected Hours: Summer Analysts are expected to work 40 hours per week
Base Pay/Salary: Boston, MA $25/ hour
Additionally, offer includes sign-on bonus
A Typical Day as a Summer Analyst:
The GCS Summer Analyst internship offers students a chance to build real-world experience across the full client journey — from identifying prospective clients to supporting long-term relationship growth. Interns are not limited to one narrow function; they work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects that show how Cambridge Associates wins, serves, and retains clients. The internship is designed for students who want to develop relevant skills, gain broad exposure to the business, and demonstrate their potential for future opportunities with the firm.
Conduct market mapping, qualify prospects, and support outreach campaigns to help build the business development pipeline.
Assist with prospect and client proposals, presentations, and introductory meetings, while learning how new client relationships are established.
Support onboarding, relationship-building efforts, and client retention activities to understand how strong partnerships are sustained over time.
Help analyze client feedback, assess relationship risks, and contribute to resolving client issues.
Work closely with senior members of Global Client Solutions, Investment Directors, and subject-matter experts across Cambridge Associates.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree candidate (all majors) with a record of high academic achievement
Demonstrated interest in finance, investments, entrepreneurship and/or in sales, business development, or client relations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to be proactive, project manage, and prioritize
Familiarity with computer databases and programs, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or restriction now or in the future
