Global Compliance and Report Solution - Director
Summary
Leads a global compliance and reporting team in an offshore shared-services center, overseeing multi-disciplinary delivery, stakeholder management, and performance metrics for professional services.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Service Delivery
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the Global Capability Services team supporting GCRS engagement delivery.
- Translate GCRS strategies into executable local delivery plans aligned with quality, risk, and performance expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in GCRS delivery models, productivity, and scalability across core services.
- Ensure consistent adherence to global methodologies, policies, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory requirements.
Operational & Financial Management
- Own operational performance, including capacity planning, utilization, recovery, margin, and cost management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Work with senior leadership and operations teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and business cases for growth and investment.
- Identify and mitigate operational, delivery, and resourcing risks.
Talent & People Leadership
- Build, lead, and retain a diverse, high-performing team of managers and professionals across multiple service lines.
- Set a strong performance culture focused on accountability, quality, collaboration, and client outcomes.
- Oversee workforce planning, hiring, succession planning, and capability development aligned to current and future demand.
- Sponsor leadership development, coaching, and engagement initiatives to support retention and career progression.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as a senior point of contact for global service line leaders, engagement partners, and regional stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with onshore and offshore stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and integration.
- Support client delivery, issue resolution, and escalation management as required.
- Represent the Philippines GCS internally as a centre of excellence and strategic delivery partner.
Quality, Risk & Governance
- Ensure robust quality management, risk controls, and compliance with firm standards and professional regulations.
- Support internal audits, quality reviews, and regulatory inspections as required.
- Promote a culture of ethical behaviour, professional judgement, and risk awareness.
Transformation & Change
- Lead or sponsor transformation initiatives, including process optimisation, automation, technology adoption, and standardisation.
- Support the evolution of the global delivery model, including new services, operating models, and emerging capabilities.
Drive change management and adoption across teams and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
Required
- 12+ years’ experience in professional services, shared services, or global delivery environments, with senior leadership responsibility.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven track record leading large, multi-disciplinary teams in an offshore or global capability centre.
- Strong understanding of professional services delivery, including quality, risk, and client service expectations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, resourcing models, and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
Preferred
- Experience setting up or scaling a global capability or managed services operation.
- Exposure to transformation initiatives (process, technology, automation, AI).
- Experience working with professional service firms / multinational clients and cross-border delivery models.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., accounting, tax, consulting, legal, or operations) is an advantage.
