Global Data Engineer: ETL, Data Platform & Analytics

Sofidel SpA in Porcari (Lucca) seeks a Data Platform Engineer to design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines from ERP and factory systems, build data models, and assure data quality across the corporate data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in CS/Engineering/Data Science and 3–5 years’ experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and cloud data services; Spark, Airflow, and CI/CD are a plus.

Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines from ERP and factory systems. Build data models and ensure data quality across the corporate data ecosystem. Monitor data workflows and resolve performance issues and data inconsistencies. Support data platform development and data services for analytics and AI solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, IT, vendors, and Data/AI specialists on data solutions. Master’s degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related STEM fields. 3–5 years of relevant experience in data platforms or engineering roles. Strong SQL and Python skills with ETL/ELT experience.
