Roles & responsibilities

Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled M365 SharePoint Online Engineer to support, implement, and manage enterprise-scale collaboration solutions across the Microsoft 365 SPO and Viva ecosystem. This role focuses on SharePoint Online engineering, governance, automation, and integration with the broader M365 platform including Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Entra ID, and Microsoft Graph.

You will be responsible to support SharePoint Online and Viva engineering activities, driving automation, governing content lifecycle, and ensuring platform reliability and security.

The ideal candidate brings both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. You will work closely with the development lead, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

ØSupport SPO and Viva Roadmap, Governance and custom Solution Deployments

ØSupport deployment of custom SPO and Viva solutions across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

ØSupport the implementation and evolution of the SharePoint Online and Viva engineering roadmap, aligning with enterprise collaboration and governance objectives.

ØReview, test, and validate new SharePoint online and Viva capabilities and roadmap features to support continuous innovation.

ØSupport and administration of SharePoint Online governance, including site lifecycle, storage, archival, and access controls.

ØOperations, Support & Performance

ØAct as a senior escalation point for production issues, ensuring timely resolution of platform incidents and service requests.

ØTroubleshoot platform issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures with SNOW and Automation

ØPartner with operations teams to ensure platform stability, availability, and performance optimization

ØMonitor Governance tool adoption, usage trends, and capacity to proactively address risks and improve user experience.

Required Skills & Qualification

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

o8+ years of work experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 engineering.

oExcellent SharePoint, SQL administration and related troubleshooting skills

oHands-on experience with troubleshooting integrations involving Entra ID, SNOW and Azure

oExposure to PowerShell scripting, Power BI reports, power automate

oExperience in SharePoint security, permissions, and governance models.

Preferred Qualifications

oWorking knowledge of SQL Server, PowerBI, Power Automate, and Viva Engage
