Global IT Infrastructure & End User Computing Manager (m/f/d)
- Global Infrastructure Vision and Roadmap: Define and execute a three-year infrastructure strategy that combines cloud-first architecture, Infrastructure as Code, Zero Trust, AIOps, platform engineering, self-service, cyber resilience, and product-based service ownership.
- Architecture, Automation, and Standardization: Define secure-by-design global architectures, technology standards, reusable patterns, cloud guardrails, automation principles, lifecycle criteria, and exception governance across regions.
- 24/7 Global Service Operations, EUC, and EUS Excellence: Oversee global infrastructure, EUC, and EUS service levels, availability, performance, capacity, configuration, change, patching, asset management, observability, and support quality. Drive prevention of recurring incidents, faster resolution, and measurable improvement in user experience.
- Resilience and Cyber Recovery: Lead the design, testing, and continuous improvement of backup, recovery, disaster recovery, business continuity, and cyber recovery capabilities. Establish clear recovery objectives, recovery procedures, crisis roles, and accountability across global and regional teams.
- Security, Zero Trust, and Risk: Partner with Information Security to embed Zero Trust, privileged access controls, vulnerability and patch management, logging, monitoring, cloud guardrails, audit requirements, and secure configuration baselines into all infrastructure, EUC, and EUS services.
- Platform Engineering and Self-Service: Establish internal infrastructure platforms, service catalogs, reusable automation, and self-service capabilities that enable business and IT teams to consume standardized services faster, more securely, and with less manual effort.
- Major Incident Management: Serve as the technical lead during major service disruptions and cybersecurity incidents. Direct decision-making, stakeholder coordination, recovery, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
- Partner Selection and Vendor Management: Drive excellence in partner selection, contract management, service-level agreements, delivery quality, cost, innovation contribution, and continuous performance improvement with vendors, system integrators, and cloud service providers.
- Product-Based Global Organization: Shape a high-performance, functional global infrastructure organization with clear product ownership, service accountability, engineering standards, and 24/7 operating discipline. Develop technical leaders and engineers through delegation, coaching, knowledge sharing, and succession planning.
- Hidden IT Integration and Capability Development: Identify, assess, and integrate hidden IT assets, local infrastructure solutions, and shadow support models into a governed global service framework. Build new capabilities where needed, including Linux operations, cloud engineering, automation, AIOps, and platform operations.
- Executive and Business Engagement: Explain infrastructure health, risk, investment options, and key performance indicators to executives and business functions, and align infrastructure plans with business plans.
