Global Markets - Rates - Trader

Your role :

• Are you a trader who is savvy about risk? Do your analytic and interpersonal skills help you figure out the value of a trade idea? We’re looking for someone who can:

• assist the team in quoting and risk managing client flows in Emerging Markets Rates across CCS and IRS markets

• develop and express macro driven and relative value views on Emerging Markets monetary policy, inflation dynamics and interest rate pricing

• work closely with sales teams and clients, to provide trade ideas, market commentary and content to generate revenue and grow client business

• facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity through internal capital or accessing third-party offerings

• follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies

• manage broad range of risk, including but not limited to trading, execution, operational and compliance risk

Your team :

You’ll be joining the Global Markets Derivatives & Solutions franchise based in Hong Kong or Singapore. We trade a range of products across the emerging markets, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. We are a regional team focused on client focus, collaboration and strengthening the franchise across Investment Bank and the Asia Pacific region.

Your expertise :

• bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or other quantitative fields

• a minimum of 5 year’s experience and track record of producing strong risk-adjusted returns

• a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies

• a critical thinker who communicates clearly

• a self-starter, able to create new solutions independently

• a good communicator and able to work effectively as a team member

• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
