This role

We are looking for a senior, globally-minded Organic Social Lead to own and orchestrate PayJoy’s organic social presence across all markets. This is a strategic, cross-market leadership role responsible for unifying brand voice, setting direction for local agencies, and turning organic social into a measurable driver of brand equity and demand.

The ideal candidate combines strong brand sensibility with a data-informed approach to impact, the ability to lead external agencies across multiple markets, and the autonomy to operate with a truly global scope. This is not a content-execution role; it is about orchestration, governance, and connecting organic social to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Global Organic Social Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Define and own the global organic social strategy, ensuring one consistent brand voice across all markets while allowing for local relevance.

  • Build the global content and channel framework that local teams and agencies operate within (playbooks, guidelines, calendars, approval flows).

  • Partner with the Brand Marketing Director to translate brand and business strategy into a distinctive organic social presence.

  • Stay ahead of platform and cultural trends, bringing best-in-class organic social practices into the organization.

  • Move the organization from fragmented, independent execution toward unified, centrally governed organic social.

  • Agency & Cross-functional Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate local social agencies across all markets, setting unified direction, standards, and ways of working.

  • Establish quality standards, review workflows, and feedback frameworks for organic social across markets.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Performance, Lifecycle, Content, and Commercial teams.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring brand alignment and consistent execution.

  • Business Impact & Measurement

  • Lower CAC by building owned demand through a strong, coordinated organic presence that performance channels would otherwise have to pay for.

  • Generate qualified interest that can be redirected to retail/physical and D2C funnels where applicable per market.

  • Establish KPIs and reporting for organic social globally, demonstrating contribution to brand health and acquisition efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 6+ years in organic/social media, with proven experience leading social strategy at a regional or global level (not single-market).

  • Demonstrated success managing external agencies and aligning multiple markets under one brand direction.

  • Experience connecting organic social to commercial outcomes (demand generation, funnel contribution, CAC efficiency).

Benefits

  • Local benefits depending on the country of hire
  • Company-funded health insurance for employee and immediate family Company-funded employee life and disability insurance
  • Paid vacation days, unlimited sick leave
  • $2,000 USD annual Co-working Travel perk
