Description

Stellantis is seeking a Global Planning Manager for the Global Vehicle Planning Team to help guide vehicle programs from early planning through development, launch, and ongoing production.

Each vehicle-segment planning team includes a Global Program Director (“PD”), a Program Director Delegate (“PDD”), and Global Planning Managers. Together, the team prepares and leads vehicle program proposals and presentations for leadership review and approval at key milestones.

The Global Planning team manages the major business decisions, development milestones, and financial performance of a vehicle line throughout its lifecycle. The team works across product planning, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, finance, quality, software, and marketing organizations to ensure that vehicle programs have a clear strategy, viable business cases, and an executable plan.

Key roles and responsibilities of the Global Planning Manager include:

  • Develop clear, concise presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead regional initiatives and special projects on behalf of the PD and PDDs.
  • Partner with Brand and Portfolio Planning teams to assess market segments, competitors, customer demographics and relevant market trends. Develop market assumptions, expected sales volumes and pricing.
  • Partner with program technical leadership to define vehicle scope, investment requirements and variable costs. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams to establish the key technical and industrial assumptions for each program.
  • Evaluate inputs from cross-functional teams for completeness, accuracy, supporting rationale, and overall business reasonableness.
  • Partner with Finance teams to develop vehicle business cases and align financial assumptions and status.
  • Manage the agendas, presentation materials, and follow-up actions for vehicle-segment leadership (GPC3) reviews and program steering committee meetings. Document decisions, action items, owners, and timing following key meetings.
  • Monitor program health throughout development, launch, and ongoing production, with particular attention to milestone achievement, financial performance, risks, and required leadership decisions.
