Global PR Manager

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing technology company with an established presence across key international markets, operating at the intersection of digital innovation and global brand building. This role exists to lead and elevate the company's public relations and external communications function, shaping how the brand is perceived by media, partners, and audiences worldwide. As a central voice for the organisation, the Global PR Manager will own both strategic direction and hands-on execution across PR, social media, and B2B partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on a company's global reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy, encompassing media relations, brand communications, and thought leadership to strengthen market awareness across key international markets
  • Serve as one of the company's spokespersons, managing end-to-end media engagement including outreach, press release development and distribution, interview coordination, and media event execution
  • Own and manage the company's official social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and others — covering content planning, copywriting coordination, publishing schedules, and performance tracking to maintain consistent brand messaging and audience engagement
  • Plan and oversee content strategy across PR and social channels, including corporate announcements, thought leadership pieces, executive communications, and crisis responses, ensuring alignment with overall business positioning
  • Monitor public sentiment and media coverage through social listening and media monitoring tools; proactively identify reputational risks and develop effective crisis communication strategies to protect the company's brand
  • Identify and develop B2B partnership opportunities, building and nurturing strategic collaborations with technology platforms, ecosystem partners, and business counterparts to support long-term growth objectives
  • Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and end-to-end management of external partnerships and related procurement, ensuring strategic alignment, commercial rationale, and adherence to internal policies
  • Collaborate closely with product, growth, legal, and regional teams across geographies to drive alignment, execution efficiency, and resource integration on cross-functional external initiatives
  • Track industry trends, media landscape shifts, and competitor communications, translating insights into actionable recommendations for PR strategy and external positioning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; international study or work experience is advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public relations, external partnerships, business development, strategic procurement, or related fields; background in the technology industry or B2B services is preferred
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves regular liaison with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, clients, and media in Chinese-speaking markets; candidates must be capable of conducting professional negotiations, drafting business documents, and public speaking in both languages
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties at all levels of seniority
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, able to translate partnership opportunities into tangible and measurable business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience working across cross-cultural environments and adapting communication styles accordingly (is a bonus)

If you are passionate about technology and meet the above requirements, please don't hesitate to apply. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Appreciate your understanding. Data provided is for recruitment purposes only.
