ABOUT THE ROLE
The Global Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Global Test Center Project and supporting the R&D Manager in managing R&D investments, machines, equipment, technologies, and R&D Service operations at B. Braun Vietnam (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Process, Problem Solving).
This role plays a key part in global collaboration, project execution, and ensuring alignment between Vietnam Test Center and Global Test Centers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Global Coordinator of Global Test Center (Main Job Function)
- Act as Project Manager for the Global Test Center project (complex project with multiple services: Sample, Aging, Transport, Testing… in different countries: Vietnam, Germany, Malaysia, Hungary, France).
- Schedule Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate with Global Test Center and global requestors to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct reviews and update stakeholders on timeline changes.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report risk status to stakeholders.
- Implement and track risk response plans.
- Resource Management:
- Identify and allocate required resources (personnel, equipment, budget).
- Collaborate with departments to resolve resource conflicts.
- Set up contingency planning and efficient resource usage.
- Allocate all RD Service Packages to RD Service members and monitor progress.
2. Assist R&D Manager – R&D Investments, Machines, Equipment & Technologies
- Assist in planning, execution, and follow-up of R&D investments (budget estimation, proposal support, monitoring, control).
- Supervision of R&D equipment & machines (operation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting).
- Supervision of Implementation and operation of R&D machine technologies (Walk-in Aging Chamber, Espec Chamber, Test Center equipment…).
3. Assist R&D Manager – R&D Service Operations (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Process, Problem Solving)
- Prioritization and capacity planning for Test Center in Vietnam.
- Creating, standardizing, harmonizing, and integrating processes of Test Center in Vietnam with Global Test Center processes (Test Center in Germany and in Malaysia).
- Coordination, alignment, escalation, and cross-functional collaboration for problem solving.
- Monitoring quality, cost, delivery, invoices, sales forecasting, and business controlling for R&D Service operations.
AUTHORIZATION
- Propose overall strategy for R&D Service.
- Propose department requirements (human, resource, capability, capacity).
- Propose personnel for RD Service.
- Propose / Review all R&D Investment.
- Review/approve R&D Service processes and expenses (where applicable with multi-level approval).
- Review/approve R&D documentation (orders, protocols, reports, records…).
- Review/approve prioritization & capacity planning decisions for production samples, accelerated aging, testing.

Internal
Regular weekly/monthly/quarterly collaboration with:
- RD Service Center Manager
- Test Center in Germany and Malaysia (HoD, Team Leaders)
- QC, Controlling, Tax, Finance Accounting
- SCM, IE, Production, PMS
- R&D Team in Vietnam
- Global Braun Technology Center, Global SCM, Global Procurement, Global Controlling
External
- External laboratories (testing, simulation, measurement)
- Machine/equipment suppliers
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with technical background (must have)
- Master or PhD (nice to have)
Experience (must have)
- At least 3 years as a Project Leader for global projects in manufacturing:
- In more than 2 countries
- More than 5 team members
- Budget > €100,000
- Experience supporting a manager to lead a team of ≥6 members OR leading ≥2 members.
- Experience with investment workflow and machinery/equipment valued > €800,000.
Nice to have:
- Experience in R&D, especially medical devices (production, testing)
- Experience with lab test equipment
- Experience with HVAC systems
- Experience working with authorities (customs for Import Export, Tax audit)
