The Global Partner & Portfolio Lead is responsible for designing and activating the enablement strategy that brings Avanade’s Partner Ecosystem, Microsoft alliance, Solution Area strategy, and portfolio priorities to life for the global sales organization.
This role serves as a critical bridge between strategy and seller execution, translating complex partner motions, portfolio priorities, industry plays, and co-sell strategies into simple, scalable experiences that drive adoption, readiness, and revenue outcomes. Working in a highly collaborative global environment, you will help accelerate business growth, drive organizational alignment, and enable sales teams to perform at their best.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global sales enablement and activation strategies aligned with partner ecosystem priorities, Microsoft alliance motions, Solution Area go-to-market strategies, and portfolio growth initiatives.
- Translate business priorities into actionable seller activation plans that accelerate adoption and drive measurable commercial outcomes.
- Execute enablement and activation plans across Avanade Markets in partnership with regional teams.
- Ensure sellers understand how partner motions, portfolio offerings, funding opportunities, co-sell programs, and industry plays connect to client value and growth opportunities.
- Align activation priorities with fiscal year objectives and organizational growth targets.
- Serve as the primary enablement partner for Global Partner Ecosystem leaders, Microsoft Alliance leaders, and Solution Area GTM & Portfolio teams.
- Build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, Partner Ecosystem, Solution Areas, Industries, Sales Excellence, and regional leadership teams.
- Influence decisions and drive alignment across complex stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
- Facilitate governance, planning, and prioritization processes to ensure coordinated execution across teams.
- Design and manage an integrated annual sales activation roadmap, including global launches, readiness campaigns, seller experiences, and field engagement initiatives.
- Lead large-scale cross-functional programs from strategy through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Create repeatable activation frameworks that can be scaled globally while supporting local market requirements.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with clearly defined success metrics.
- Champion a seller-first mindset across all activation activities.
- Simplify complex messages, content, and processes into intuitive experiences that fit naturally into seller workflows.
- Design engaging learning journeys, communication strategies, and performance support experiences that increase adoption and reduce friction.
- Gather seller feedback and insights to continuously improve program effectiveness and user experience.
- Partner with change management teams to drive adoption of new partner motions, portfolio priorities, industry plays, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Develop communication and engagement plans that promote awareness, understanding, and behavioral change.
- Collaborate with regional sales activation leaders to localize and reinforce global priorities.
- Create tools, resources, and engagement tactics that support sustained field adoption.
- Establish success measures and reporting mechanisms for activation programs.
- Evaluate effectiveness through engagement, adoption, readiness, pipeline influence, and business outcome metrics.
- Deliver insights and recommendations that inform future investments and program improvements.
- Use data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to increase seller impact.

Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs in Sales Enablement, Partner Enablement, Portfolio Management, Go-to-Market, Sales Operations, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Experience working within highly matrixed global organizations.
- Proven success driving initiatives that require influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting sales organizations, partner ecosystems, strategic alliances, or go-to-market teams.
- Experience driving adoption of strategic partner and portfolio initiatives.
- Strong program and project management capabilities, including planning, execution, governance, and performance measurement.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate complex strategies into scalable, user-centered experiences.
- Experience with change management, adoption strategies, and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Microsoft alliance programs, partner ecosystems, and co-sell motions.
- Knowledge of Solution Area strategies, portfolio management, and growth initiatives.
