This senior-level role will help shape the strategic direction and performance of multiple global product portfolios within a growing Food Safety business.
You will connect enterprise strategy with clear portfolio priorities, investment decisions, and lifecycle plans across international markets.
The position combines commercial leadership, portfolio governance, financial discipline, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will assess opportunities, identify portfolio synergies and gaps, and develop recommendations that support sustainable business growth.
Working closely with senior leaders and regional teams, you will help optimize pricing, margins, launches, and overall portfolio performance.
You will also coach portfolio management professionals and strengthen strategic thinking, accountability, and execution standards.

Accountabilities:
- Lead cross-portfolio strategy, establishing clear investment priorities and lifecycle balance across multiple product portfolios.
- Align portfolio strategies with broader Food Safety growth objectives and market opportunities.
- Identify synergies, overlaps, and gaps across product portfolios.
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for portfolio acceleration, rationalization, or reinvestment.
- Translate enterprise-level strategy into actionable portfolio roadmaps.
- Define resource requirements, revenue assumptions, budget recommendations, and prioritized investment plans.
- Oversee aggregate portfolio performance across global markets.
- Monitor P&L outcomes, revenue performance, pricing discipline, margin improvement, and launch results.
- Identify and manage portfolio-level risks and opportunities.
- Establish and strengthen portfolio governance and planning processes.
- Support disciplined lifecycle management and strategic decision-making across multiple product lines.
- Partner with regional teams to align global portfolio priorities with local market needs.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Scientific Affairs to connect innovation pipelines with commercial and business value.
- Translate market, financial, technical, and operational insights into actionable portfolio recommendations.
- Coach and support Portfolio Managers, helping strengthen strategic capabilities and execution standards.
- Promote accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across portfolio management activities.
- Present portfolio performance, strategic priorities, and investment recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Support global alignment around portfolio priorities, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
- Significant experience in portfolio management, product management, commercial strategy, or a related senior business leadership role.
- Experience within Food Safety, Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Manufacturing, or another technical B2B environment is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing or influencing P&L performance.
- Demonstrated experience with revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, margin improvement, and portfolio performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead portfolio planning and governance processes across multiple product lines.
- Strong experience developing business cases and investment recommendations.
- Demonstrated understanding of product lifecycle management and portfolio optimization.
- Experience translating enterprise strategy into practical portfolio roadmaps and investment plans.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across a complex organization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams within a global or matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex market, financial, and operational information.
- Excellent strategic thinking and commercial judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations to senior audiences.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading Product or Portfolio Managers.
- Ability to strengthen performance, accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement within a team.
