We are seeking an experienced strategic marketing leader to build the global commercial marketing foundation for Kerry’s Therapeutics End Use Market, while helping establish and activate Account-Based Marketing (ABM) across priority accounts.
Working closely with Commercial Leads, Product Management, Technology Marketing Leads, RD&A Innovation teams and Commercial Excellence, this role will connect customer needs, innovation investments and commercial priorities to drive strategic account growth and market adoption.
This is a highly visible role that will work across Commercial, Technology, Innovation and Marketing teams to shape how Kerry brings its innovations to market, engages strategic customers and accelerates growth in one of its most important future business areas.
Role Purpose
Lead the development and execution of the Therapeutics commercial marketing strategy, ensuring customer insights, innovation investments and commercial priorities are translated into compelling value propositions, sales enablement, market activation and account growth initiatives.
Partner with Commercial Excellence to establish and evolve the ABM approach for Therapeutics, ensuring alignment with broader Health & Therapeutics growth priorities and ABM best practices, and lead Therapeutics readiness, adoption and activation. The role acts as a key connection point between Commercial, Technology and Innovation teams, helping ensure all functions are aligned around a coherent market strategy, customer story and growth roadmap.
Key responsibilities
Lead Therapeutics ABM Adoption & Activation
- Support Commercial Excellence to establish and evolve the ABM framework for Therapeutics.
- Adapt ABM methodologies, tools and frameworks to Therapeutics customer segments and growth priorities.
- Support Commercial Excellence with development of Therapeutics-specific ICPs, account segmentation and account prioritization.
- Enable adoption of ABM across Therapeutics commercial teams.
- Establish marketing-specific ABM success measures and reporting to evaluate content effectiveness, account reach & engagement and contribution to commercial objectives.
- Own the activation of ABM within Therapeutics, aligned to available resources and business readiness.
Build the Therapeutics Commercial Marketing Foundation
- Develop the Therapeutics messaging hierarchy and value proposition framework.
- Build workflow- and outcome-led customer narratives and platform storytelling.
- Identify and address sales enablement gaps highlighted through Push&Pull forum and commercial feedback.
- Develop foundational sales tools, sub-End Use Market playbooks and customer-facing materials.
- Partner with Technology Marketing teams to translate Kerry's technology and innovation capabilities into compelling customer narratives, value propositions and market positioning across Therapeutics sub-End Use Markets.
- Support commercial teams with customer-relevant content and account engagement resources.
Provide Customer & Market Insights for Growth
- Generate customer, competitor and market insights to inform Therapeutics growth priorities.
- Support Commercial teams with End Use Market trends, workflow insights and market opportunity assessments.
- Develop Therapeutics customer personas, audience segments and insights that support ABM activation and account growth.
- Bring an external market perspective into strategy, innovation and commercial planning discussions.
- Partner with Commercial Directors, Product Managers and Technology Marketers to identify strategic growth opportunities and engagement priorities.
Drive Strategic Account Growth
- Partner with Commercial Directors and account teams to support growth within priority accounts.
- Support development of account-focused engagement strategies and growth plans in partnership with Commercial Directors and account teams.
- Improve stakeholder penetration and multi-functional engagement within target accounts.
- Support earlier engagement in customer workflows/formulations and decision-making processes.
- Apply ABM principles to strengthen strategic account development.
Translate Innovation into Market Adoption
- Working closely with Product Management and RD&A Innovation teams:
- Translate innovation outputs into compelling customer value propositions and commercial narratives.
- Support launch readiness and market activation for new technologies and platforms within Therapeutics, partnering closely with Technology Marketing Leads.
- Develop adoption strategies that help accelerate customer uptake.
- Capture customer and market feedback to inform future innovation and growth opportunities.
Sales Enablement & Market Activation
- Build sales enablement resources (e.g. Proof point libraries, customer narratives, etc.).
- Support thought leadership and customer engagement initiatives.
- Develop activation plans for priority platforms and growth opportunities.
- Equip commercial teams with the tools, messaging and insights required for effective customer engagement.
- Support market awareness and adoption through coordinated marketing activity.
Qualifications and skills
Minimum 10 years experience in marketing
Experience with pharmceutical/biopharma products or ingredients
Experience with B2B marketing and Account Based Marketing strategies
Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business or equivelent
Master Degree Preferred
The pay range for this position is $123,400 - $185,100 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
