Global Technology Alliance Manager, Databricks
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Technology Alliance Manager, Databricks based in the United States.
This is a strategic alliances leadership role focused on building and accelerating a high-value global technology partnership.
You’ll own the relationship end to end, serving as the primary connection point between internal teams and a major cloud data platform partner.
The role combines partner strategy, enterprise sales, go-to-market execution, pipeline development, and customer adoption.
You’ll orchestrate closely across Sales, Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Partner Operations to create repeatable joint programs.
A key priority will be developing strong field relationships and enabling teams to collaborate effectively on solution selling and customer opportunities.
You’ll operate at senior levels within a global technology ecosystem, influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Success will be measured through mutual customer growth, pipeline creation, revenue impact, partner engagement, and a stronger end-to-end customer buying experience.
Accountabilities:
- Own the global strategic relationship with the assigned technology partner and serve as the primary point of contact across the partnership.
- Build trusted relationships with partner executives, sales teams, solution architects, product leaders, marketing stakeholders, and other strategic contacts.
- Orchestrate collaboration across internal Sales, Partner Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Partner Operations teams.
- Establish yourself as a trusted resource for US field sales and pre-sales teams, helping them understand partner capabilities, joint solutions, and opportunities.
- Connect internal partner sales managers with partner field teams to strengthen solution selling, coordinate opportunities, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with Marketing and Product, balancing repeatable programs with targeted strategic initiatives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop joint pipeline opportunities rather than focusing solely on relationship management.
- Drive mutual customer adoption, pipeline generation, revenue growth, and strategic business outcomes across both organizations.
- Develop programs that generate referrals and create new business opportunities while improving the overall customer buying journey.
- Communicate partnership priorities, opportunities, challenges, and performance across internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a cross-functional orchestrator, aligning teams and removing barriers despite having no direct authority over many of the stakeholders involved.
- Continuously identify new opportunities to strengthen the partnership, expand joint solutions, and increase market impact.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, partner management, or a related commercial function within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, global technology partnerships involving multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open, scalable data infrastructure; experience with data movement, analytics engineering, or comparable technologies is highly valued.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders within large global technology organizations.
- Strong commercial instincts, with demonstrated success identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing joint pipeline opportunities.
- Experience developing strategic go-to-market programs that translate technology partnerships into measurable revenue and customer outcomes.
- Ability to operate as a cross-functional orchestrator, influencing Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Operations without relying on direct authority.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to connect strategic partnership objectives with practical field execution and customer needs.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and success depends on proactive ownership and collaboration.
- On-target earnings: $227,106–$283,883 USD annually.
