GNC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development and analysis of AOCS/GNC algorithms.

• Dynamics systems modelling.

• Development of Real-World Simulator for AOCS/GNC algorithms testing.

• Perform GNC trade-off studies and engineering budget analyses.

• Define AOCS requirements and interfaces.

• Participation in AOCS/GNC testing campaign, including hardware and software testing in laboratory environment.

• Participation in AOCS system in orbit commissioning.

• Analysis and evaluation of data from orbit.

• Contribute to development of in-house tools and simulations.

Qualifications

• Good command of MATLAB and Simulink.

• Experience in GNC development.

• Control systems, or similar engineering background

• Knowledge of basic Python and/or C language.

• Familiarity with systems engineering concepts.

• Intellectual curiosity and problem solving skills.

• Fluent professional English (written and oral).

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced control techniques (robust control, MPC, nonlinear control, etc.)

• Experience in space industry.

• Experience with automatic code generation.

• Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.)

• Familiarity with ECSS standards and ECSS-driven projects.

• Familiarity with AOCS and GNC sensors and actuators.
