About the Team

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated GNC Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our GNC team. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating flight dynamics simulation frameworks, preparing test campaigns, as well as supporting GNC and flight performance evaluations. Your Tasks

  • Prepare and support various testing campaigns.
  • Set up simulation campaigns and analyze the results.
  • Maintain and validate a high-fidelity flight dynamics model for a rocket.
  • Maintain and develop a complex flight data analysis framework.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD solutions to automate simulation workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with GNC, Mission Analysis, and Flight Safety engineers to support. simulation-based testing and verification of flight algorithms and mission scenarios.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering and/or related discipline. A higher degree is considered advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink development and modeling.
  • Sound knowledge in Python development and data analysis.
  • Good understanding of rocket flight dynamics, atmospheric flight, and trajectory modeling.
  • Good understanding of guidance, navigation and control (GNC) systems and terminology.
  • Experience (2+ years) in software development is considered advantageous.
  • Experience in CI/CD automation is considered advantageous.
  • Self-independent, creative, and structured way of working.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English).
