[GNRC] - MEP - Design Engineer - MAA

• Prepare detailed MEP system designs, calculations, layouts, and technical drawings as per project requirements.
  
• Develop HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection system designs in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, load calculations, and system selection.
  
• Prepare design reports, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction documentation.
  
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, BIM teams, and other disciplines to ensure clash-free and compliant designs.
  
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and international design standards.
  
• Support design reviews, technical queries, and project coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC/Fire Protection), Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering (Plumbing/PHE), depending on the discipline.
  
• 6-9 years of experience in MEP design engineering.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and relevant design software such as Revit MEP, HAP, Dialux EVO, ETAP, Ecodial, Elite Software, or Pipe Sizer (depending on the discipline).
  
• Strong understanding of MEP design principles, engineering calculations, applicable codes, and industry standards.
  
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and design standards.
  
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, design reports, BOQs, technical specifications, and detailed construction drawings.
  
• Good coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary project teams.
  
• Exposure to international project standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, BS, IPC, UPC, etc.) and multidisciplinary project environments will be an added advantage.
