Go-to-Market Engineer – HubSpot & AI
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + Super
Go-to-Market Engineer – HubSpot & AI
Remote – Australia & New Zealand
$120,000–$150,000 + super
We're looking for a hands-on Go-to-Market Engineer who understands HubSpot deeply and is already building with AI.
This isn't a traditional HubSpot Administrator role, and we're not looking for someone who's simply been experimenting with ChatGPT.
We're looking for someone who understands how Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams operate, can identify where processes can be improved or automated, and then actually build the solution.
You'll work across HubSpot, Claude, AI agents, automation and integrations to build smarter GTM systems.
What you'll be doing
Building and deploying AI agents that solve real business problems across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.
Using Claude and other LLMs to automate and improve GTM processes.
Building workflows, automation and processes across HubSpot.
Connecting HubSpot with AI tools and other platforms using APIs, webhooks and MCP.
Building agents that can access CRM context, use tools, make decisions and take appropriate actions.
Creating automation across lead qualification, routing, enrichment, prospecting and customer lifecycle management.
Improving HubSpot architecture, data quality, properties, objects and reporting.
Developing integrations and custom solutions where out-of-the-box HubSpot functionality isn't enough.
Prototyping new AI ideas and turning them into working solutions.
Working directly with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and leadership teams to understand problems and build practical solutions.
Testing, monitoring and improving agents and automations once they're in production.
What we're looking for
You must have:
3+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience.
Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows — not simply using ChatGPT or Claude.
Hands-on experience using Claude and modern AI development tools.
A strong understanding of HubSpot workflows, CRM objects, properties, automation and integrations.
Experience working with APIs, webhooks and external systems.
An understanding of prompting, context, tool use and how agents interact with external systems.
The ability to take a business problem from idea through to a working technical solution.
An understanding of how Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams actually use a CRM.
A genuine interest in AI and where GTM technology is heading.
The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
You must be based in Australia or New Zealand.
We'd love to see
Experience with some of the following would be highly regarded:
Claude Code
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
HubSpot APIs
HubSpot Developer Platform
HubSpot Agent Tools
Custom workflow actions
JavaScript / TypeScript
Python
REST APIs and webhooks
Serverless functions
RevOps / GTM Operations
Data enrichment platforms
Sales automation
AI-powered prospecting and research
AI-powered lead qualification and routing
CRM integrations
You don't need to tick every box.
What matters is that you've spent the last few years building, you're genuinely interested in the intersection of AI and GTM technology, and you can show us things you've actually created.
Who this role will suit
You're probably the person who sees a repetitive GTM process and immediately thinks:
"We could automate that."
You know HubSpot well, but you're interested in what comes next.
You've already been experimenting with agents, LLMs and AI tooling and want the opportunity to use them to solve real commercial problems rather than just build demos.
You can speak with a Head of Sales or Marketing, understand what they're trying to achieve, work out what needs to happen technically, and then get hands-on and build it.
You don't need a perfectly defined brief before you start. You're comfortable testing ideas, working through problems and figuring things out.
The opportunity
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of HubSpot, AI and Go-to-Market technology.
You'll have the freedom to experiment with new tools and approaches while building systems that have a genuine impact on how teams sell, market and service their customers.
This is a fully remote role across Australia and New Zealand, with a salary of $120,000–$150,000 + super depending on experience.
How to apply
We're less interested in a perfectly written cover letter and more interested in what you've built.
When applying, tell us:
How many years you've worked hands-on with HubSpot.
What you've built using Claude or other LLMs.
Tell us about an AI agent you've built — what triggered it, what data and tools it could access, what decisions it could make and what actions it could take.
Which APIs, MCP servers or external systems you've worked with.
Give us an example of a GTM process you've automated that previously required someone to do it manually.
If you have GitHub projects, demos, Loom videos or other examples of your work, we'd love to see them.
