The Company

We are seeking a Finance Regulatory Reporting - Senior Executive, responsible for month-end account closing and ensuring regulatory and financial reporting are submitted in a timely manner and in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role suits a finance professional looking to deepen their regulatory reporting expertise within insurance. This is a 6 month contract.

The Role

• Support the month-end closing process, including preparation of monthly and ad-hoc journals.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory returns submission.

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and audit schedules.

• Contribute to monthly management reports and other financial reporting deliverables.

• Perform regular system interface checks.

• Prepare notes to the annual Financial Statements.

• Support other ad-hoc reporting tasks as required.

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Min 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.

• Prior exposure to the Insurance industry is an advantage.

• Meticulous, with a strong eye for detail.

• Comfortable working to tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.

• Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel.

• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and/or insurance policy systems is a plus.
