GoDigit - Senior Software Engineer - Python

About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications, intelligent automation solutions, and enterprise-grade software systems.

The role involves building high-performance services, integrating multiple platforms, and delivering reliable technology solutions for business-critical use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend applications and services using Python.

- Build APIs, integration frameworks, and workflow automation solutions.

- Develop systems capable of processing structured and unstructured business data.

- Create reusable libraries, components, and engineering accelerators.

- Own the delivery of critical modules and technical components.

- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Support production deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.

- Mentor junior engineers and support engineering best practices.

Required Experience :

- 3+ years of software engineering experience.

- Strong expertise in Python.

- Experience building APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

- Experience with SQL and database design.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized deployments.

- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation systems.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Experience :

- Exposure to search systems, recommendation systems, automation platforms, or data-driven applications.

- Experience handling large-scale business data and document-based workflows
