Golang Developer
Summary
Build and maintain scalable microservices in Go that power customer loyalty platforms, integrating REST APIs, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Golang Software Engineer to build and enhance a modern, microservices-based platform that powers customer loyalty and benefits experiences at scale. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, delivering high-impact features and partnering with engineers across platforms to drive innovation and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang or a similar type-safe backend language.
- Build and enhance features within a microservices architecture.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and asynchronous messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to system design, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one type-safe backend programming language; Golang is preferred.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a professional software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and testing strategies, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and BDD.
- Experience with technologies and tools such as:

- Jenkins
- Jira or Rally
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment, and continuous testing (CI/CD/CT).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
