Golang Developer
Summary
Senior Go developer (onsite, Stanwell Moor/Staines) building microservices exposed via REST APIs and gRPC, deployed with Docker and Kubernetes, automated through Jenkins CI/CD and Terraform, and backed by SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) stores in a cloud-native environment.

Requirements:- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Golang (Go)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
- Strong knowledge of Terraform; Ansible or Chef is an advantage
- Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Good understanding of cloud-native application development and infrastructure
- Experience with Java/Spring Boot or Python is an advantage
- Strong understanding of security and access management, including PAM/Teleport
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Golang microservices for global payment platforms
- Architect and optimize high-performance systems for large transaction volumes and low-latency processing
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and gRPC-based services
- Drive technical architecture, solution design, and implementation of complex enterprise applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and automate infrastructure using Terraform
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments
- Implement secure development and infrastructure practices, including PAM and Teleport
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to engineers across distributed teams
