Time: 2pm-11pm or 3pm-11pm Shift

Work mode: Remote

This contractor will be working on a migration of the database and refactoring of the platforms application code to work with BigTable.

The application is written in Go, and utilizes a Kafka stream to ingest data that is then written into ScyllaDB.

Requirements
5 years of recent and hands-on Golang experience
Cloud experience is required (GCP/ AWS/ Azure); Recent experience with GCP is preferred and considered precedent however not a disqualifier
Experience in migrations and working with BigTable.
Experience with database- ScyllaDB
Kafka experience.
Proven ability to Test, validate and review the solution.
Experience working in a highly automated agile environment where changes are pushed
Familiar with the scrum process and Git.
Strong communication skills.
