Salary: £67,000 - 107,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven hands-on experience developing backend systems using at least one type-safe language, with Golang strongly preferred.
- Professional background in software development with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid familiarity with backend microservices architectures, RESTful communication, and asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience operating within Scrum frameworks to deliver business capabilities and end-to-end customer journeys.
- Strong foundation in Test-Driven Development (TDD) across unit, component, functional, integration, and regression testing tiers.
- Practical experience with CI/CD/CT pipelines, automated testing, version control, and project tracking tooling such as Git, SVN, Jenkins, JIRA, and Rally.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD, BDD, and Waterfall.
- Desirable technical exposure to Golang, Postgres, Kafka, gRPC, Docker, GraphQL, and Git.
- Design and implement features within the Account domain.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to exchange best practices and platform knowledge.
- Contribute to the global Loyalty and Benefits platform as part of our software engineering team.
