Golf Learning Center Assistant Manager
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Golf Learning Center General Manager, the duties of the Golf Learning Center Assistant Manager
will include but will not be limited to the following:
Guest Experience
• Ensure guests receive exceptional service across entertainment golf, practice, and event offerings.
• Address guest concerns professionally and maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Support staff in delivering a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Operations
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate staff schedules and maintain adequate staffing levels.
• Oversee entertainment bays, practice areas, and short-course operations.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with District policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform operational duties as needed during peak periods.
Financial & Business Performance
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support promotions, events, and revenue-generating initiatives.
• Assist with inventory control and cost management.
Staff Leadership
• Assist with employee recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, evaluations, and discipline.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Events
• Coordinate and support private events, tournaments, and group bookings.
• Ensure event spaces are prepared, equipped, staffed, and guest-ready.
Technology & Marketing
• Operate POS, reservation, and golf technology systems.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate when necessary.
• Support marketing initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement efforts.
Safety & Risk Management
• Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ensure staff complete required safety and compliance training.
• Document incidents and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Support all District safety policies and programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a face-paced, high-energy setting with exposure to loud music, flashing lights, and large crowds.
