Golf Shop Attendant
The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range: $12.77- $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals with the daily management of golf operations
- Assists with golfer check-in and fee collection; controls and manages play; reconciles daily tee sheets
- Assists in administering all point-of-sale (POS) application revisions and needs as they apply to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing
- Promotes all club golf activities
- Assists with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop
- Assists with maintaining proper records and billing for storage and lockers for members
- Assists golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games
- Monitors all members’ scores, reports handicaps to the USGA, and bills members accordingly
- Follows established opening and closing procedures
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous golf course and/or retail experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college or a college degree preferred; or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements:

Availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings

Reliable attendance with strong customer service skills and a positive personality
