Your Responsibilities
● Lead and oversee the implementation of ISO 26262 software-related requirements across the product development lifecycle. Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 Part 6, focusing on software safety processes.
● Conduct software-specific hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety analysis to identify potential software-related safety-critical issues and assess their impact on safety objectives.
● Develop and document software-specific safety plans, safety concepts, and safety requirements specifications, tailored to ISO 26262 Part 6 and project needs.
● Collaborate extensively with hardware, software and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of safety requirements and practices into the software development process.
● Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, sharing your expertise in ISO 26262 software implementation.

You Have
● B.S. or higher degree in a technical field with relevant work experience.
● Proven and relevant experience implementing ISO 26262 for software products.
● Provent experience in executing software-specific safety analysis, risk assessments, and hazard analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA).
● Effective communication skills to convey intricate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Great to Have
● Knowledge of ISO 21434.
● Relevant certifications in functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262 Certified).
● Experience in Cybersecurity.
