Overview

Are you passionate about helping organisations unlock the full value of Google Cloud, AI, collaboration, and data platforms? As AvePoint continues to invest in our Google business, we are looking for a strategic, customer-focused sales specialist to drive growth across Google Workspace, Google Classroom, Google Gemini, and Google Cloud environments.

In this overlay sales role, you'll partner with Account Executives and channel partners to engage customers on their collaboration, data management, security, governance, and compliance challenges. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll help organisations maximise the value of their Google investment while positioning AvePoint as a strategic partner within their Google ecosystem.

What will you be doing?

As a Google Cloud GTM Specialist, you'll drive growth across Google Workspace, Google Gemini, Google Classroom, and Google Cloud, partnering with Account Executives, channel partners, and Google stakeholders to identify, qualify, and accelerate opportunities. You'll help customers solve complex collaboration, data security, governance, and compliance challenges while positioning AvePoint as a trusted Google partner.

Key focus:

  • Owning, creating, validating, and executing a territory plan focused on Google‑centric customers, articulating how you will achieve your revenue quota across the UKI & South Africa.
  • Developing new prospects through new logo acquisition and existing customer cross sell motions, targeting organisations standardised on or migrating to Google Workspace, Google Classroom, Google Gemini and Google Cloud.
  • Managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles using a consultative, platform‑led approach, positioning AvePoint beyond point solutions.
  • Engaging customer personas across IT, Security, Compliance, and Business leadership, with a strong understanding of Google Workspace usage and governance challenges.
  • Planning and delivering presentations that demonstrate how AvePoint’s solutions enhance, secure, govern, and extract value from Google environments.
  • Working closely with the virtual account team, including but not limited to dedicated pre‑sales engineers, marketing, partner teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to progress and close opportunities.
  • Sourcing new, and collaborating with any existing Google ecosystem partners, including resellers and system integrators, where relevant to the deal motion.
  • Communicating new product developments and roadmap updates relevant to Google customers.
  • Attending remote and on‑site customer and partner meetings (this is a field‑based role, with an emphasis on in‑person collaboration).
  • Implementing targeted sales campaigns to maximise penetration in Google‑first accounts.
  • Maintaining an accurate and up‑to‑date pipeline in CRM, with disciplined forecasting and hygiene.

OK, I’m interested… is this the job for me?

We look for people who value agility, passion and teamwork — individuals who bring fresh ideas, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and want to grow their careers.

In this role, you will hunt exclusively for new business, focusing on organisations where Google Workspace is core to how they collaborate and operate. You’ll be commercially curious, confident, and entrepreneurial, spotting industry and account‑specific trends and translating them into a strong territory strategy.

If you enjoy selling outcomes over features, translating customer problems into measurable value, and positioning a multi‑cloud, AI‑driven platform that supports secure collaboration and data‑driven insights, AvePoint is the right place for you.

What we’re looking for

  • Several years of experience in a sales role, ideally within software or technology
  • Experience selling into Google Workspace and/or cloud‑centric environments
  • Comfort with executive‑level selling, across both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication, listening, and storytelling skills
  • Proven drive to exceed performance and revenue targets
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with ARR ‑based compensation plans and quota‑carrying roles
  • Enjoyment working with partners and channel ecosystems

Benefits we offer:

  • Market-competitive commission scheme and annual Presidents Club Trip for top performers
  • Career progression and internal mobility opportunities
  • 30 days of annual leave, in addition to public holidays
  • GBP 1.000,00/Year towards our Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Company pension scheme
  • Private medical insurance
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Corporate Donation Matching Program
  • Maternity policy
  • Company sponsored events / regular team building events
  • Extra paid perk days - Birthday off, Family/Life Event Day, Volunteering...
