Job Title: Governance & Compliance Analyst (GRC)
Location: Reading or Paddington (2x days on-site per week)
Salary/Rate: £540 - 590 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 2-3 weeks
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract
Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Governance & Compliance Analyst to join their team in either Reading or Paddington on a hybrid basis.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The generalist GRC contractor will own areas of the technology asset lifecycle and drive governance, risk, and compliance activities.
- Manage asset lifecycle governance (EOL / EOS / vulnerabilities)
- Identify, assess & support mitigation of risk
- Drive governance reporting and improvement
- Engage heavily with senior stakeholders
- Influence decision-making (especially around security prioritisation & spend)
- Potential to support TSA when needed
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Ideal Profile
- Broad GRC / InfoSec background (not niche)
- Experience across:
- o ISO27001 / NIST / general frameworks
- o Risk & compliance
- o Governance reporting
- Strong stakeholder management (critical)
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and challenging decisions
Key Traits
- Safe pair of hands across multiple GRC areas
- Able to own problems + drive outcomes
- Not purely technical - business-facing
