Government Property Management Analyst
We are seeking a Government Property Management Analyst to support government property accountability and lifecycle management activities in accordance with federal regulations and agency requirements. The successful candidate will help ensure compliance with property management policies while supporting audits, inventories, reporting, and asset accountability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate government property records throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Support property receiving, tagging, tracking, transfers, inventories, and disposition activities.
- Ensure compliance with FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and applicable agency policies.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare property reports and audit documentation.
- Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, logistics personnel, and government representatives.
- Review property records for completeness and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with property management system assessments and corrective actions.
- Support Government Furnished Property (GFP) accountability.
- Develop reports and metrics supporting executive decision-making.
