Government Relations assistant manager
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and regulatory authorities in Saudi Arabia. Act as the main point of contact for government-related matters across entities such as: MODON ZATCA / Customs SFDA SASO Civil Defense Ministry of Investment Ministry of Commerce Saudi Business Center • Monitor and stay up to date on regulatory changes, policies, and legislation impacting operations. • Ensure timely processing of all licenses, permits, registrations, and compliance documentation. • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Support import/export operations including customs clearance for raw materials and finished goods. • Represent the company in meetings with government authorities and industry forums. • Provide regular updates to leadership on regulatory developments and government engagement activities.
• Saudi national (Saudisation requirement). • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Law, Political Science, or a related field. • 5–7 years’ experience in Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs, or a similar role. • Strong experience working with Saudi government entities, particularly: MODON ZATCA / Customs SFDA SASO Civil Defense Proven experience within manufacturing-heavy environments, ideally: Food & beverage manufacturing (preferred) Pharmaceuticals Chemicals • Strong understanding of regulatory processes related to factories, imports/exports, and compliance. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility and relationships with government stakeholders. • Strong Arabic communication skills (essential); English proficiency required. • Hands-on, field-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities. • Professional, grounded, and collaborative personality with the ability to influence without escalation.
