Steady Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DAY-TO-DAY LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - GRADUATE PRACTICAL NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working under a licensed provider or RN to maintain a collaborative, compliant, and patient-centered care environment
- Ensuring strict compliance with all CHP protocols, established medical principles, and the Florida Statute Nurse Practice Act
- Identifying patients' needs through phone, electronic, and in-person interactions, appropriately documenting information, and helping implement a plan of care
- Cooperating with your team and following directions to ensure care gap closure
- Assisting with other responsibilities as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- We will accept LPN certification from an accredited college/technical school, or a written acknowledgement of GPN status from the Florida Board of Nursing
- BLS (basic life support) certification
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write clear routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to clearly present and explain information one-on-one and in small groups
- Adaptable problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team spirit
- Math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, etc.) with the ability to create and interpret bar graphs
- Technology proficiency with the ability to learn and use Windows-based software
Our ideal Licensed Practical Nurse - Graduate Practical Nurse has at least 1 year of experience, but it's not necessary.
