GPS Tracking Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track the location and status of vehicles in real-time, ensuring compliance with the assigned routes and schedules.
  • Use tracking data to optimize routes, reduce fuel costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Respond to incidents such as route deviations, delays, or vehicle breakdowns, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Analyze GPS data to generate reports on fleet performance, route efficiency, driver behavior, and compliance.
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and usage to schedule timely maintenance and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with drivers to provide route information and ensure safe driving practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of all tracking data, incidents, and vehicle status updates.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet management, GPS tracking, or a similar role in transportation or logistics.
  • Proficiency in GPS tracking systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with an ability to coordinate effectively with drivers and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics best practices.
