Leads and manages grading crews to execute construction projects per plans and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining documentation.
- Lead and manage grading crews to maintain safe, efficient, and productive job site operations.
- Construct projects according to plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure all grading work is completed accurately and in accordance with quality standards.
- Complete and maintain necessary crew documentation including equipment check sheets, daily work reports, timecards, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all local, state, and NCDOT regulations.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent regarding project needs including inspections, geotechnical requirements, and subcontractor scheduling.
- Ensure proper use, care, and safety of equipment and tools on the job site.
- Communicate daily production goals and expectations with crew members.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies.
