Graduate Commercial Assistant

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate commercial officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for someone eager to start their career in commercial. No prior experience is required, just a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Resolution of disputes, claims, and cash collection issues
• Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-business group, project, and portfolio of projects
• Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-business group

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Maximise commercial performance while managing business and project risk (pre and post-contract)
• Commercialisation of a sub-business group’s service offerings to support business growth and strategy
• Ensure compliance with relevant commercial and contracting policies
• Resolution of disputes, claims, and cash collection issues
• Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-business group, project, and portfolio of projects
• Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-business group
• Promote and demonstrate safety leadership behaviours
• Always act ethically and with the utmost integrity
• Champion and promote the application of the financial management framework guidelines
• Champion and follow the relevant delegated authority and commercial/contracting policies

Expected:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• Excellent communication skills, written, oral, and presentation
