Graduate Data Scientist - Amplar Health Home Hospital

Data Science & Analytics (Primary Responsibility)

  • Work with clinical, operational and technology teams to understand data needs and uncover insights.
  • Build dashboards, visualisations and reports that help us improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with data modelling, forecasting, and exploratory analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Clean, transform and analyse data from clinical and operational systems.
  • Support ongoing data quality, governance and documentation.

Technology Support (Level 1 Help Desk)

  • Provide first-level support for clinicians and operational staff using Home Hospital systems and devices.
  • Troubleshoot common issues (logins, connectivity, device setup, basic application support).
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technical team members when required.
  • Help maintain knowledge-base documentation and contribute to smoother day-to-day technology operations.

What You'll Bring

  • A recent degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Engineering or similar.
  • Successful completion of university-level mathematics subjects across first, second and third year levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated programming experience in Python, R and/or SQL, gained through university projects, internships or personal projects, with the ability to write, test and troubleshoot code independently.
  • Great communication skills and comfort working with non-technical stakeholders.
  • A willingness to jump in, learn quickly and support the team wherever needed, including help desk duties.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare innovation and using data to improve patient outcomes.
