Graduate Design Engineer - Electrical

Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
— Responsible for the Electrical design of building services and associated systems of work.
— Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA
procedures.
— Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP’s partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
— Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team.
— Attend meeting when required.
— At all times exhibit behaviour, consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
— Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
— Use of electrical software and 3D modelling to develop electrical system designs.
— Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
— Develop exposure to safety in design principles.
— Develop skills in technical report writing.
— Focus on completing tasks as requested.
— Develop skills in proposal writing and winning job from a job.
— Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):
— Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
— Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is a plus
Experience, skills and organisational knowledge
— At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
— Knowledge in Bluebeam Revu, Autocad , Revit MEP, PowerCad-5, AGI and Dialux
— Knowledge in Lightning, Power, Security and Data Lay-outs Schematic Design and Single Lines
— Developing skills in identifying risk.
— Developing awareness of applicable legislations, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
— Aware of WSP's organisational capability.
— Aware of relevant systems, procedures and practices.
— Aware of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
