Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Operations: Assisting with the assembly of mechanical components and systems.
- Drawing Interpretation: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings with a strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensions and Tolerancing).
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborating with suppliers for new project developments, ensuring timely and quality delivery of components.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilizing various mechanical tools, power tools, effectively and safely.
- Material Knowledge: Applying your knowledge of different materials, such as metals and plastics, in practical applications.
- Measurement and Inspection: Using measuring instruments accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Manufacturing Process Understanding: Demonstrating knowledge of various machining operations such as VMC, Lathe, Milling, EDM, and surface treatment processes like electroplating, powder coating, laser cutting, sheet metal bending, and laser marking.
- Metallurgy Knowledge: Basic understanding of metallurgy, including heat treatment processes and their various types.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Requirements
What
We're Looking For:
Educational
Qualification: Diploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Production
Engineering.
Technical
Skills:
Solid
understanding of engineering drawing reading and interpretation.
Proficiency
in GD&T parameters.
Familiarity
with common mechanical tools (e.g., Allen keys).
Basic
knowledge of various materials (metals, plastics).
Ability to
use measuring instruments accurately.
