Graduate Engineering Program 2026

The Graduate Engineering Trainee is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to develop the next generation of engineering professionals through structured learning, practical project exposure, and hands-on technical experience. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to the planning, execution, commissioning, and successful delivery of engineering projects while building a strong foundation in industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical installations, and project engineering.

This role provides exposure to the complete engineering project lifecycle, enabling you to develop practical skills in project coordination, technical documentation, procurement support, equipment commissioning, quality assurance, and customer engagement. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while gaining valuable experience in delivering engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Project Support

  • Support the execution of engineering projects including equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and project implementation.
  • Assist senior engineers with on-site technical activities and workshop operations.
  • Monitor assigned project activities to ensure work progresses according to established timelines.
  • Participate in plant inspections, equipment audits, and technical assessments.
  • Assist in diagnosing technical issues and implementing engineering solutions under supervision.

2. Technical Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate engineering records, maintenance documentation, and compliance reports.
  • Track project modifications and maintain documentation of engineering changes.
  • Ensure technical information is organised and readily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Procurement & Materials Coordination

  • Support procurement activities by raising requisitions through the ERP system.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and inventory levels for engineering materials and spare parts.
  • Verify that delivered equipment and spare parts meet required technical specifications.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Participate in customer and supplier meetings to understand project requirements.
  • Support engineers in gathering technical requirements and preparing engineering solutions.
  • Respond to customer technical queries by coordinating information with internal engineering teams.

5. Learning & Professional Development

  • Participate in structured graduate training programmes, mentorship initiatives, and technical workshops.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of engineering technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Gain practical experience by supporting experienced engineers during project execution and maintenance activities.

6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to company safety policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in workplace safety inspections and promote safe engineering practices.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives to ensure successful project delivery.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business to support engineering initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Contribute to cross-functional assignments that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.




Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Membership or eligibility for registration with a relevant professional engineering body is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or project-based environment.
  • Exposure to engineering projects, industrial maintenance, automation systems, or machine installations will be an added advantage.

Technical Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or similar applications.
  • Understanding of industrial automation systems, mechanical engineering principles, and electrical components.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems used for project tracking and procurement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, willingness to learn, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
