This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work at the intersection of: - Front-end development - Website design and UX - AI-powered product innovation - Data-driven user experience - Digital publishing and media technology You will help us modernise our websites and web applications, improve user journeys, and build new AI-powered experiences that increase audience engagement, retention, and loyalty. This role is ideal for someone who loves building digital experiences and is excited by how AI is changing the web. **What You’ll Be Doing** **Front-End Development** - Build and improve modern front-end experiences across Today Digital websites and web applications - Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces for desktop and mobile - Help modernise legacy user journeys and site functionality - Build reusable UI components and front-end modules **User Experience & Journey Optimisation** - Improve website usability, navigation, and engagement flows - Help optimise information architecture across multiple brands - Analyse audience behaviour and identify friction points in user journeys - Support A/B testing and iterative UX improvements **AI-Powered Product Innovation** Help design and build AI-powered features that improve: - content discovery - search - personalisation - audience engagement - loyalty **Examples may include:** - AI assistants - smarter search - personalised recommendations - interactive data tools - conversational UX **Web Application Development** You’ll work on modern web apps powering our news publications and other digital properties. This includes: - CMS - Client portals - Workflow automation - Product interfaces **Data & Platform Support** Although front-end focused, this role will also support broader platform development.
