Graduate Industrial Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for Industrial Engineering (IE) data management, capacity planning, and manufacturing optimization. This role supports monthly capacity analysis, backlog reviews for revenue alignment, bottleneck identification, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage corporate-level capacity planning strategies
  • Perform 18-month test capacity forecasting and planning
  • Track and monitor Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives (GMII) against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
  • Drive capacity gap resolution through capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, including AOP and dynamic capacity requirements.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of corporate systems and databases, including Agile and Worldwide Test Capacity Tools.
  • Optimize production loading across all OSAT partners and internal manufacturing factories.
  • Conduct project-based analyses to support GMII initiatives, operational optimization, and strategic decision-making.
  • Perform ROI analyses to evaluate investment and capital expenditure opportunities.
  • Analyze test output entitlement versus actual performance and develop improvement plans to close performance gaps.
  • Lead test floor layout optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor test equipment OEE performance, conduct gap analyses, and implement corrective improvement actions.
  • Support daily shop floor planning and resource optimization to maximize manufacturing efficiency and throughput.
  • Fresh Graduate in Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and dashboard/reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industry is preferred
