- Support design of electrical systems and electronic assemblies .
- Create electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and field wiring diagrams
- Support the design of control panels for 3-phase 400V systems and HV DC
- Specify and select electrical components including switchgear, protection devices
- Support software integration, debugging, software maintenance, and version management
- Develop testing specifications and commissioning procedures for systems
- Optimise firmware for maximum performance, reliability and efficiency
- Support build of systems, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Coordinate with I/O circuits for main controllers and safety systems
- Generate technical documentation and work activities
- Hands-on experience in electrical, electronics, controls or automotive engineering
- Knowledge of micro-controllers and electrical system wiring
- Interest in computer science and software development, code in spare time
- Experience working with electrical and mechanical components
- Ability to work proactively with minimal support using a logical approach in an environment with minimal documented processes
- Must be self-motivated and an effective team player
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Nice-to-haves
- A basic understanding of High Voltage vehicle systems and safety.
- Experience in a Formula student team
- Knowledge of battery system technology including cell chemistries, BMS etc.
