Graduate Mechanical Engineer
We’re looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. An aerospace engineering degree and a 2:1 or above would be an advantage.
This role would suit someone who is curious, practical and happy to get stuck in. You might enjoy building, repairing or modifying things in your own time, taking on personal engineering projects, or simply seeing what happens when you take something apart and put it back together.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the design and development of mechanical products and components
- Helping create and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Assisting with prototype builds, testing and problem-solving
- Working with colleagues across engineering and production
- Learning how designs move from an initial idea through to manufacture
- Taking responsibility for tasks and building your technical skills with guidance from experienced engineers
What we’re looking for
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline
- Ideally, a 2:1 or above; aerospace engineering would be particularly relevant
- A practical, hands-on approach and genuine curiosity about how things work
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and a willingness to learn
- Confidence using CAD would be useful, but isn’t essential
You don’t need years of industry experience. We’re interested in your engineering fundamentals, your attitude and the things you’ve chosen to build, fix or explore in your own time.
If you’re a recent graduate who wants to develop as an engineer and work on real products, we’d like to hear from you. Please send us your CV and a short note about a project or practical activity you’ve enjoyed.
