Graduate Sales Engineer Intern
Summary
Intern provides remote and on-site technical support for NI hardware/software like LabVIEW, assists with demos and training, and helps validate systems for customers.
- Provide remote technical support to customers via phone and email, assisting with inquiries related to NI hardware and software, including LabVIEW, TestStand, and modular instruments
- Support marketing and market activation activities by assisting with the development and demonstration of virtual instrumentation systems for events, webinars, and customer engagements
- Participate in on-site customer visits alongside Account Managers and Field Application Engineers to support product installations, basic system validations, and proof‑of‑concept testing
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, seminars, and customer training sessions for NI products and solutions

- Students nearing graduation or early‑career professionals who have graduated within the past three years
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related technical field (final‑year students are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interest in working directly with customers to understand technical challenges and apply NI solutions effectively
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and approach problems with curiosity and structure
- Proficiency in English for professional communication
- Availability to commit full‑time (five days per week) for a 12‑month internship program
- Willingness to transition into a full‑time role such as Field Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or Sales role upon successful completion of the internship
- Prior exposure to NI software or hardware platforms
- Experience with test, measurement, automation, or system integration concepts
- Academic projects, internships, or hands‑on experience involving customer interaction or technical problem‑solving
